Update – 22 July 2026, 1830 hrs Rainfall has now started to subside across the South Kashmir region. According to Doppler radar imagery, an estimated cumulative 80–120 mm of rainfall has occurred over the upper catchments of South and Central Kashmir since 10:00 AM today. Water levels in the tributaries and the River Jhelum have begun responding to the rainfall and are expected to rise further.
