The water level at Sangam reached a maximum gauge of 20.37 ft at 11:00 PM yesterday. Since then, the river has been on a receding trend, with the current gauge recorded at 19.49 ft. At Ram Munshibagh, the current gauge is 19.13 ft. The water level is still rising marginally at this location; however, based on the upstream trend, the water level is expected to peak and begin receding within the next few hours.
